1)      LAS VEGAS

As the US dollar improved over foreign currencies, New York saw a decrease in international visitors. The tourism industry has responded to this decrease in demand by offering substantial discounts - over 30% off many hotel rates. 

This is the first time in over a decade that some major hotels in New York have lowered their rates to this level.  Plus, because so many domestic and international airlines fly into the greater New York area, there is great competition - and even lower rates on seats. 

3)      FLORIDA
The Sunshine State has been hit hard by the economy and is responding with deep discounts just about everywhere throughout the State.  Special pricing is now available at some of the most popular attractions including Disney World, MGM/Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Sea World and others.

Hotels are offering much lower rates on some of the best accommodation available including studios with kitchen facilities. Even Florida car rentals have lowered their rates.

4)      CANADA
Always a desirable worldwide tourism destination, 2009 could be the year to stay Canadian.  Check out the cities you’ve always wanted to explore - Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg.  Head out to the friendly Atlantic Canada provinces of PEI,. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.  

Consider the Rockies, Whistler and Western Canada and you have the ideal destination - now at substantially lower costs.   Easy air access within the country or for international visitors from anywhere in the world.
